Today was our first day mostly off our feet. We drove from our Airbnb in the farmland around Te Anau into Fiordland National Park. I was afraid of the other drivers we would encounter and running out of gas, but neither were problems. We took a boat tour of Milford Sound and pulled off the road in a few places on the way back. I'm mostly taking pictures with my DSLR, but here are some shots from my iPhone.

We stopped in Te Anau for dinner at the Olive Tree Cafe. Best dinner of the trip so far, last night's was the worst. Tonight I got some NZ lamb. My wife, the health nut finally got the French fries she had been daydreaming about on our backpacking trip.
She liked her meal tonight much better than last night's "Mexican" pizza.
Trying to catch the last light of day in Fiordland. Somebody in NZ really needs to own up to the misspelling of "fjord".
